CHP Faces $20 million Lawsuit for Image Leak

UPDATED FEBRUARY 2, 2010 

The California Highway Patrol had to admit recently that they weren't sure where their images were going.  When the gruesome photos of the driver in a highway fatality circulated across the internet, a hole in the CHP's chain of custody for their digital information was exposed.  Now, the family of the driver is seeking $20 million in damage from the CHP.  Are you certain this won't happen with your digital evidence?
