The DIMS Database Case Management ImageServer Tower provides agencies with a centralized repository for  their downloaded digital evidence.  Engineered with Intel® server-class multiple core processors for maximum processing power and safeguarded with RAID technology, the ImageServer is the heart of an agency-wide implementation for digital evidence.

The ImageServer Tower utilizes a small form factor design. This allows it to be used in a lab enviroment or in a location where physical space is at a premium. The server can be purchased in a Tower or 2U configuration.

The DIMS database allows for customization of user search criteria. The database employs security features to allow admistrators to provide levels of access and comply with departmental regulations. The DIMS server uses a non-proprietary data structure that allow departments to import data from existing systems and export data to other repositories.

The DIMS server uses utilizes a pull data model that employs Quality of Service (QOS). This allows for Dynamic bandwidth allocation. The DIMS system operates with minimal network resources.

The DIMS server design though originally designed for large agencies is expandable and provides an entry point for both mid-size and small agencies.  The DIMS server is expandable through addtional storage capacity and can provide a department with redundancy for the protection of their electronic evidence.
