Panoscan MK-3 Digital Panoramic Capture System

Panoscan MK-3

Panoscan's powerful MK-3 is the choice of Forensic and Law Enforcement professionals, worldwide, because it is the fastest, most light sensitive and the most ruggedly reliable and easy to use panoramic camera available anywhere. Panoscan's PanoMetric photogrammetry software, works with the MK-3 to make measurements with fraction of an inch accuracy easy and fast.

The Panoscan MK-3 is a third generation panoramic camera. The MK-3 can scan a full 360 degree image in less than 8 seconds. This speed is accomplished without any loss in sensitivity. In fact, the MK-3 has up to four times more sensitivity than any other product of its kind. Shooting in low light situations is easy, with up to ISO 3200 sensitivity. These two features make MK-3 superior in capturing HDR imaging faster and with more light range than any other method.

The automatic black calibration feature means that you don't have to fumble with lens caps before each scan. Our multi-zone white balance system assures perfect color every time. Just put it in place, walk out of the room, and shoot the image you need.
Panoscan makes all these advances possible, by taking advantage of superior technology. The high resolution capacity of the Panoscan demands the best optics... and the MK-3 uses superior Mamiya medium format lenses. Panoscan's ViewFinder software and cutting edge electronics are designed by Better Light, the world leader in digital scanning technology.
The MK-3 accepts standard 62mm creative filters behind lens, for infrared and ultraviolet imaging capacity.

Panoscan's mechanics are silent and more important, vibration free, which is part of the secret to our unequaled accuracy in photogrammetry. The other part is Panoscan's own PanoMetric software, that works with the MK-3 to make accurate measurements possible, up to 20 feet, right inside the image. This eliminates the need to measure crime scenes at the location. It can be done quickly and accurately using the digital image. And because the MK-3 takes full 360 images, all measurements are possible.
