The Perfect Combo of CaseCracker and DIMS

Linear Systems has successfully connected five new CaseCracker interview rooms at Tucson Police Department.  After a brief training session the department was extremely pleased with the simplicity and performance of the interview rooms, and their ability to fully integrate with their existing DIMS2 digital evidence management solution. The seamless integration allowed for an easy transition for the department, and proved once again that DIMS ability to secure data in a non-proprietary format gives agencies the customization and compatibility that they are looking for.

CASECRACKER INTEGRATES WITH EVIDENCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

July 8th, 2011 by Faith Clauson

We recently completed an installation and training at Tucson Police Department. TPD decided to outfit five interview rooms with CaseCracker because of its ease of use and compatibility with their DIMS evidence management system from Linear Systems. As a result of the integration between CaseCracker and DIMS, TPD is able to store interviews along with other digital evidence in a central location for easy searching and case management. Best of all, the simplicity of the integration ensures that all interviews are stored according to department policy. "We began using CaseCracker hours after it was installed, and the interface with DIMS was flawless," said John Neeley, ID Supervisor at Tucson Police Department. "Detectives have to deal with a lot of different things, so CaseCracke's ease of use has been the best feature so far."
